When Sharon began her home search, she had already done the groundwork and was ready to go! She knew exactly what she wanted, and I knew we wanted to get her the best deal in this market! After finding a home that had previously been purchased by an ibuyer company, we saw an opportunity to get a great home at a great price!Knowing it would be hard to negotiate when the other side of this deal was a corporation, Sharon stood firm on everything she knew she needed to get from this home and this deal! And it worked! We closed on this home for $100k less than what it was last purchased at (giving her instant equity!) and we were able to get buyer credits to lower her interest rate!Can you say boss lady moves? Sharon is starting a new chapter with this new home for her and her children Aliyah and Tristan! She is a great mom and an example of what a strong, independent woman can accomplish by building generational wealth for her family!
A Surprise Engagement
It didn’t take long for Danae & Kailey to find their perfect home for themselves and their dog, Cowboy. A perfect sized, completely renovated home in Rancho Del Oro in Oceanside. They beat out multiple offers and had a smooth transaction and closing.To celebrate their new home, they decided to have a big housewarming party for all their family and friends. They had friends BBQing, the neighborhood was filed with cars, and the backyard was filed with music, talking and laughter - and a big secret! Everyone at the party knew that it was Kailey’s plan to propose to Danae, except, of course, for Danae!A couple of hours into the party, Kailey put her plan into motion. She put a special dog tag on Cowboy’s collar, that said, “Mom, will you marry my other mom?” and let him loose. Danae caught him, and while she was distracted, the entire crowd gathered round, phones drawn, while Kailey got down on one knee and proposed! (Of course Danae accepted, and the couple is getting married in September!)We love hearing about (and being part of) the amazing memories our clients and friends make in their new homes!Congrats Danae & Kailey - we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
Homeownership Goals | Equity on Repeat
Back in 2015, these recently engaged lovebirds were looking for a nest to call home, so the hunt was on to find and purchase their starter place. One of their biggest wishes was to stay local to family in Carlsbad and in a reputable neighborhood with a possible backyard. In August of 2015, Gina and Brett said yes to the address in the beautiful master planned community of Shadowridge. In this cozy home they started their family, remodeled throughout, and found out they were pretty DIY handy with some power tools. After 4 years, and thinking of the future, they decided to sell contingent and then buy again to get into something newer and little bit bigger. With some good equity in their pocket, they had their eye on a brand new build with a little bit more square footage in the heart of Rancho Del Oro in Oceanside. Buying new doesn’t necessarily come without hiccups, so after 2 years in Oceanside, they again found themselves needing another place to call home with hopes of something a little bigger for their growing family! They repeated the process of buying and selling at the same time and found the perfect home just one town over. Homeownership has allowed them to continue to build equity and find the perfect home for every stage of their family's growth. Can’t wait to see what’s next with their homeownership dreams!
