Finding the One

Being a military couple, Michael & Bailey bounced around from station to station, and state to state, with nowhere really being “home.” When they decided to move back to San Diego County, Michael reached out to agent Jaylene on social media and they hit the ground running. With their handsome little son, Nico, and 4 dogs, backyard space was #1 on the must-have list. After searching through countless condos & townhomes all across North County, a townhome with a backyard space big enough for the family finally popped onto the market! While working on getting their pre-approval finalized, the couple decided that if the condo is still available when they got their pre-approval, then it is meant to be. If the seller accepted another offer, then it wasn't meant to be their home. The delay in making the offer turned out to be a huge stroke of luck, because day later, a single family home came onto the market, and it checked all of their boxes and more.

While pictures are nice, sometimes real estate listing photos are deceiving, so Bailey and Jaylene jumped to see the home that same day at 9pm. It was late, but it was worth it - the home exceeded their expectations! It even saved them money over the condo because of a lower interest rate and no HOA, and they snagged a bigger backyard, an extra bedroom, a larger garage, newer looking kitchen, and more square footage! After years of not settling, Michael and Bailey were able to find their perfect home in their hometown.
