    Welcome back home!

When little babe Gema was born in 2020, it became apparent that this new family of three needed more local help. At the time they were living up in Fresno for work, and just realized it was too far from their local roots and most of their family members. They sold their first home together and made the big decision to move back down full time to San Diego closer to family. In 2021, they began the hunt for their local home, keeping all their options open. The biggest need was space for multigenerational living. We checked out large and small lots to build new construction on,  ranch homes with room for additions or ADU’s, and plenty of homes with views. Although we had many options, the covid real estate market was tough to find a good one. Homes were selling WAY over list price, with tons of offers. If you didn’t move fast, you missed them! After being on the hunt for over a year or so, in June 2022, Tran and Gio found the one! A home under budget with room for improvement, on a good piece of land with a view, and already had that important multigenerational suite they needed. With a little TLC and upgrades they could make it their own. If you can believe it, this rockstar couple was also about 9 months pregnant at the time and about to welcome their son in to the world while about to take on a project. Little did we know it would basically happen on home closing day! They welcomed their son on a Monday, signed loan documents in the hospital room that night and we closed on their new home the very next day! What an amazing 24 hours! We can’t wait to see this new family of four remodel their home into everything they ever wanted (and more) all within a short drive of their local rooted family. Welcome back home!

    Covid Changed Everything

Covid Changed Everything After buying their first home together as a young couple, Kori & Joey decided they wanted to move out of the suburbs and enjoy beach living before having children. So in summer of 2018 they decided to rent out their San Marcos home, and moved into a beautifully remodeled beach condo in Encinitas - closer to their office, and walking distance to the waves.Their 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo was perfect for the two of them. They had room for a small desk in their Peloton room, and started a garden out on their private front patio. Their two dogs enjoyed the community dog park, and life was pretty idyllic. Then COVID changed it all.Joey & Kori found themselves both working home, a tight fit in what had once felt like a spacious place for the two of them. Then when they discovered that Kori was expecting, they knew it was time to accelerate their plans and move into a larger home that would fit their family’s growing needs. The COVID market was tough - especially when they had to sell the condo prior to closing on their new home. They stuck with the process, and were able to find a beautiful house surrounded by caring neighbors, beautiful parks, and walking distance to the town center that met all their of their needs, and even had room to grow! After a ton of showings, and a few failed offers, the offer on their perfect home was accepted at the Huberty’s price, and their condo was listed and sold in record time. Now almost two years later, after making some updates, the best changes that COVID brought were the Huberty’s son Caden, who they’ll be able to raise in their beautiful San Elijo home.
